Addison Group has a client who is looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist with an AP focus! They are in the Twin Cities Metro and are in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with full-cycle accounts payable process, including, but not limited to: 3-way matching, coding, posting, assisting with month-end duties, reconciliations, backing up AR and more. The Accounting Specialist position is a full time position with compensation up to $32/hr depending on applicable experience.

  Responsibilities:

· Complete full cycle accounts payable functions, daily, weekly, and monthly banking functions, reconciliations, analysis and other month end duties

· Assist with month-end close process including journal entries, reconciliations (credit cards statements, expense reports, aging reports, bank reconciliation) and other financial reporting duties as assigned.

· Three way matching of purchase order, receipt and invoice and entry into system

· Coding and approval of non-purchase order invoice and entry into system

· Weekly cash request reports

· Facilitate payments to vendors which may include verification of Federal ID numbers

· Review and research invoices and receivers that haven't been matched

· Assisting Controller with variance analysis and cost accounting items

· Assist with audit requests

· Back up/assist Accounts Receivable as needed
