Job Title: Coverage Coordinator
Job Type: Part-time, 12-month contract, 26 hours per week
Reports to: HR Coordinator
Staff to manage: N/A
Department: Operations
Location : On campus (Eligible for remote work)
Starting Salary : $16.42/hr-$22.39/hr

- Former experience in this field (High School Diploma or equivalent required).
- Valid State of Arizona “IVP” Fingerprint Clearance Card (or acquired prior to employment).

- Preference will be given to individuals who have experience working in the target community or in a demographically-similar community and prior experience in a similar role.

Job Summary (General Description)
The Coverage Coordinator is responsible for arranging coverage for classes when teachers are off during the work week and supervising external substitute teachers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Send invites as reminders for coverage.
- Submit requests for substitutes.
- Ensure substitute teachers are equipped to cover classes: gather lesson plans, provide instructions for taking attendance, make copies.
- External substitute supervision.
- Follow up with teachers regarding lesson plans.
- Compile data for proactive coverage coordinating.
- Covering front desk as needed.
- Other operations duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

- Work at a desk, conference table, small student classroom table, or in meetings in various configurations.
- Hear and understand speech at normal levels.
- Kneel, bend at the waist, and reach overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling moderately heavy objects.
- Move throughout campus including climbing step ladders, stairs, bleachers and hallways, indoors and outdoors
