If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Aquatics Coordinator at our Downtown Y ! This full-time position requires evening and weekend availability and comes with great benefits!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing member-focused aquatics programs
• Supervise pool facilities and staff, prioritizing safety
• Build authentic relationships with members and help them connect with each other
• Enforce water safety rules, perform rescues, and provide first aid as needed
• Assist with scheduling and scheduling and coordination of lifeguard training and certifications
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as scheduled
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be certified in CPR, AED, Oxygen, first aid, and lifeguard
• Pool operator certification preferred
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Ability to lift, stoop, bend, and perform necessary physical activities
• Excellent verbal communication skills
