Become a part of the Human Resources Branch as our next Personnel Specialist! We are seeking hardworking individuals with a background in customer service and experience with personnel/payroll transactions to join our Payroll and Benefits Unit.
What Will I Be Doing?
As a member of the Payroll and Benefits Unit, your main responsibility will be to process personnel and transactions requests from Covered California staff. You will be communicating with all levels of staff within our organization to provide excellent customer service, as well as performing research for solutions to complex transactions issues. This role also includes tracking various transactions-related items such as leave balances and usage, hours worked for part-time and Retired Annuitant employees, and documentation for Non-Industrial Disability Insurance and State Disability Insurance benefit options. This position’s office headquarters location is designated in Sacramento, CA. Travel expenses associated with commuting to the employee’s office headquarters location are not reimbursable, other than authorized transit subsidies.
