Position Summary : The IT Helpdesk Associate Technician II is responsible for providing efficient and timely IT Service Desk Request responses with first-rate client and technical service in support of FlexShoppers corporate team. This Helpdesk Associate will assist with requests that include troubleshooting and resolving IT desktop support issues with PCs, software, printers and related peripheral devices, equipment relocation, purchasing of new hardware/software and resolutions of security issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform desktop support tasks related to basic and advanced repairs of desktop PCs, applications, and supporting technology equipment, related peripherals, and mobile devices
- Installation, configuration, repair, and deployment of hardware assets
- Test and deploy various applications, equipment, and systems images
- Perform routine maintenance of desktop operating systems and software applications including but not limited to security patches/updates and antivirus updates/monitoring
- Accurately record, update, and escalate document requests using helpdesk ticketing system
- Provide technical support, both remotely and onsite, by identifying and troubleshooting hardware/software and network connectivity issues
- Responsible for upskilling in overall IT infrastructure, methods, and industry standards
- Assist with support efforts for business units and other IT teams
- Assist with installed software and managing software licensing
- Create user accounts and manage user account based on company policies
- Ability to work a rotating on-call shift that will include being available outside of regular business hours
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed, depending on changing business needs
Supervisory Responsibilities: No Qualifications Education, Experience and Technical Skills: - Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or proven industry experience and certification will be acceptable in lieu of Bachelors degree
- 3 to 5 years PC support in a Windows and Mac OS network environment preferred
- Sound IT technical and analytical skills, good judgment, and strong operational focus with the ability to identify, research, and resolve issues independently and as part of a team
- Must have experience and a solid understanding of: Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Windows 7, 8, and 10
- Microsoft certifications preferred but not required
- Some helpdesk call center experience providing telephonic user support required
- LogMeIn Central experience
- Access control/badging experience
- Server experience (including racking)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Product Suite and industry-related software programs, TCP/IP
- Substantial network and telephony troubleshooting experience (2+ years preferred)
- Microsoft Active Directory/Azure AD and Microsoft Exchange experience preferred
- Windows Server (Windows 2012, 2016, and 2019)
- Experience with Windows Clustering technology (is a plus)
- LAN/WAN
- TCP/IP
- SIP/VOIP
- Working experience with VMWare virtualization platform (i.e., ESXI, VCenter, etc.)
- Experience with AWS services (E2C, S3, RDS, etc.) is a plus

For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. This is an onsite full-time position in our Boca Raton corporate office, that will require you to work a rotating on-call shift that will include being available outside of regular business hours. Extended hours, weekends, and holiday coverage may also be required as needed, depending on changing business objectives.
