Job description
Job Description: We are hiring an Associate to join our investment team to primarily focused on Series A Series B and growth opportunities for the firm. This individual should have a technical skillset and mindset paired with attention to detail and the capability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people both internally and externally. The successful candidate will be a smart resourceful outgoing selfstarter with a proven ability to conduct rigorous due diligence and proactively find and attract the best investment opportunities globally. In addition to diligence and deal sourcing the Associate will also be expected to support the Funds thesis development work through sector deep dives and provide value to our portfolio companies and strategic limited partners.
Responsibilities:
- Due Diligence: Prepare thoughtful and rigorous analysis of prospective fund investments including sector financial founder analysis
- Deal Sourcing: Leverage existing network and establish new relationships with founders/CEOs investors and industry experts. Know how to identify winning technology and amp; teams
- Sector Deep Dives: Prepare sector deep dives on emerging areas of interesting including general research market sizing competitive analysis to help inform investment theses
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated passion for entrepreneurship and growthstage startups in nontraditional technology sectors like industrials supply chain logistics energy climate transportation built environment and other real world markets.
- Minimum of 24 years of prior work experience in Investment Banking / Private Equity or equivalent technical product or strategy role
- Bachelors Degree from a toptier institution with a finance computer science engineering or other technical degree
- Must demonstrate a highlevel of achievement in terms of financial analysis due diligence analytical skills attention to detail and organization
- Technical skillset emotional intelligence and a demonstrated passion for networking and discovering new startups
- Displays deep curiosity for impacting climate change manufacturing mobility and frontline work through innovation
