Job description
- DevOps Engineer is responsible for seamlessly implementing technical architectures into cloud infrastructure, including design, maintenance, support, and planning.
- DevOps Engineer is accountable for identifying the most optimal cloud-based solutions for existing and emerging use cases, ensuring the cloud solution meets availability, accessibility, scalability, and cost-based needs.
- DevOps Engineer is responsible for architecting and implementing cloud security features into the system, to include ensuring interfacing with identity services and the proper processing of sensitive data from a protection, encryption, transport, storage, access, and auditing standpoint.
- DevOps Engineer is responsible for guiding the team through the development life-cycle with cloud technologies, including Cl/CD releases.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of IT experience
- Undergraduate degree in any of the following: Software Engineering, Cyberspace/Cyber Services, Math, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Physics
- AWS Services: EC2, VPC, ElastiCache, Route 53, RDS, S3, S3 Glacier, EFS, Lambda, Glue, EMR
- CI/CD: Jenkins, SonarCube
- Architecture: AWS EKS, Amazon ECS, Docker, Kubernetes,
- Database: MySQL, PostGreSQL, SQL SERVER
- Configuration: Ansible, Vagrant, CloudFormation, Terraform, Jenkins
- Programming (Coding): Python, Ruby
- Must have experience with implementing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, data literacy, DevOps best practices, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and cloud best practices and principles.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with Service Mesh for GreyMatter
- Advanced educational degree
- AWS Certification(s)
- Experience on GovCloud/Commercial Cloud Services (C2S)
