Position Title : Financial Relations Coordinator
Salary: 70k-80k
Main Focus-
- Fully onsite
- MUST have long term care experience
- MUST have Medicaid experience
- You will be reviewing financial documentation and proper notification to provide to the resident and their family, outlining their requirements for us to receive payment for services rendered.
- You will address all information related to financial coverage at admission through the establishment of the appropriate payer source.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines as well as be a team player.
- Ability to be adaptable, flexible, and able to manage a high volume of work.
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures as well as external funding source guidelines.
- Highly motivated and a team-oriented individual with a proactive and positive business approach focused on meeting the current and future financial needs of the Department.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and financial tools.
- Must possess quantitative skills and experience in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a diverse environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and tact.
Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters credits in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is preferred.
- Knowledge of OMB Federal-wide terms and conditions.
- Experience working in a higher education administrative office or other research administration setting.
- Experience with University specific accounting systems such as BA4 (Priority Software) and FRS.
- Experience with both research proposals and budget preparation and electronic research systems such as NSF Fastlane and Grants.gov.
- Experience submitting proposals to the federal government.
