Treasury Management Officer
Description/Job Summary
Responsible for the development, support, and sales of cash management products and services for corporate and retail customers. Assists branch personnel in new client marketing. May supervise cash management assistant.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Manages merchant portfolio, merchant set-ups, and merchant application pricing. Overseess growth and success.
- Markets and coordinates cash management products as defined by Executive Management.
- Assists with the research, development, and implementation of cash management products and services.
- Assists commercial loan officers with new client prospects.
- Responsible for department budget, setting goals and objectives.
- Travels between branches and to meet customers.
- If applicable, supervise cash management assistant.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Preferred Skills
- Skill in communicating and coordinating activities with management, customers, coworkers, and vendors. Communication must be timely and strong.
- Ability to develop a strong sales and service based culture.
- Ability to research and develop new products and techniques.
- Ability to travel.
Preferred Experience
- Five or more years of bank and cash management experience with sales preferred.
- Knowledge of cash management products, sales, and compliance.
- Knowledge of management practice and principles.
- Knowledge of FiServ system, Word, Excel, and cash management software.
Preferred Education
High School diploma or equivalent work experience, college degree preferred.
