Care Coordinator - Large Senior Living Community
We are seeking an outstanding Care Coordinator to join our team at a large senior living community in East Tucson. Come join a team of dedicated, smart, and caring professionals as they work together to care for our seniors and provide them the lifestyle they deserve.
Must hold a valid AZ Caregiver Certification
Job Description
Our Care Coordinator work closely under the Health and Wellness Director and Memory Care director to plan resident care. You will oversee operations at the community and monitor resident health routines. Some of your duties will include oversee health care administration and staff management, as well as to make sure staff members are following health care guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, lead and mentor Caregivers
- Assure team is in compliance with regulations governing resident care
- Create schedules and approve timecards
- Complete assessments, assist with incident follow ups and any tasks related to resident care
- Rotating on call of every other week, primarily phone based but occasionally required to work on the floor.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of at least 2 years as a caregiver in Assisted Living
- Management/ Leadership experience of at least 2 years preferred
- Scheduling experience strongly preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
