Job description

Our Client has an urgent need for a Software Systems Analyst to join their team right away!

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for end users who are facing technical issues
• Assist via remote troubleshooting and walking end users through setups, installations, or the resolving of malfunctions
• On-site configuration and installation of personal computers, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Network support. Cable termination, wiring, and the network configuration of peripherals.
• Know the technical workings of our end-user applications and continuously stay up to date with the latest features or product changes
• Implementation and Maintenance of:

o Data Connectivity for LAN and WAN, including Wired and Wireless.

o VMware & Windows/Linux physical and virtual servers

o Network and performance monitoring

o Firewall, Antivirus

o Site-to-site remote connectivity via a leased line, IPSEC VPN, MPLS, etc.

• Security Administration – establish and maintain user accounts, profiles, file sharing, application-level security
• Program implementation & support – assist programming staff in deploying new and updated programming code & related applications. Support troubleshooting of applications
• May work under the supervision of Network Administrators & Application Developers on ticket escalations or to roll out new or updated applications and technologies
• Understanding of DNS, DHCP, NAT, SSL, ADFS, SSO, and Network Routing Protocols
• Understanding of Mobility solutions including Intune, Cisco AnyConnect Client VPN, etc.
• Understanding of Infrastructure applications such as Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory, Azure AD, IIS, SQL Database Servers
• Project Management:

× Utilize Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps for day-to-day task management.

× Coordinate rollouts, service changes, service disruptions, and training events with the Helpdesk Team

• Be willing to learn and grow in an ever-changing field
