Responsibilities:
- Ensure continuous customer satisfaction following hospital-wide service excellence standards.
- Collaborate with Clinical Coordinator or Department Director to address Cardiac Cath Lab procedure room flow issues.
- Manage inventory control in collaboration with the Clinical Coordinator.
- Complete initial and annual skills validations as required.
- Advocate for patients and assess their understanding of diagnostic/interventional procedures.
- Collaborate with patients to plan their testing/treatment course alongside physicians.
- Assist in performing cardiac diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiology procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Aid in cardiac diagnostic tests in the Cath Lab Holding room as needed.
- Continuously evaluate patient care using the nursing process and satisfaction evaluation forms.
- Educate patients/families about procedures and treatments, customizing information to individual needs and documenting outcomes.
Documents Required:
- Must be actively licensed in the state of California as a Registered Nurse
- CPR or BLS Certification, ACLS
- Physical Test and a TB Test (taken within one year)
- Driver's License or State ID
- 6 months experience working as an RN
- COVID Vaccination and Booster Shot
