Job description
Travel Position in Summerville, SC with all travel paid + Per Diem
Description:
Layout, level and align pumps, compressor turbines, paper machines and centrifuges, repair pumps, set impeller clearances, set fan blades, and align belts and motors to gearboxes using manual tools, lasers, and computers.
Technicians may also have a working knowledge of different types of metals, bearings, mechanical seals, valves, packing, vertical and horizontal multi-stage pumps, drive couplings, agitators, gas and steam turbines, agitators, reciprocal and centrifugal compressors, and gearboxes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience working in an industrial/shipyard environment repairing machinery and equipment.
Must have strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable with traveling for long periods of time away from home.
