12244 – Sr Network Automation Architect (3 days /week onsite) – Miami, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Full-time direct employment with Vitaver Staffing Client
Work Setting: a hybrid role (up to 3 days /week in the office)
Requirements: • Ansible/Jenkins /Python/Terraform experience;
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines;
• Cloud networking experience: AWS preferred, Azure, or GCP;
• Linux based OS and hypervisor, NFS Platforms, Open NOS such as Naviflow, NodeWeaver, ADVA and SONiC experience;
• Experience in least one major manufacture such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, CheckPoint, Dell, HPE/Aruba and Cisco for Layer 2/3 network switching, wireless Network technology, Firewall technology, SDN and WAN;
• Experience with TCP/IP, SSL, LACP, LLDP/CDP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, HSRP, GLBP, SNMP, STP, VPC, VSS, VDC, MSDP, PIM, IGMP, RTP, SIP, H.323, LWAPP, RADIUS, TACACS+, various 802.11 wireless standards, VXLAN, DNS, DHCP;
• Experience with Netscaler and F5 Application Delivery Controllers;
• Experience with Fortinet FortiGate, ASA, Juniper SRX and Palo Alto Firewalls;
• Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems;
• Experience with Web Application Firewalls;
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (required);
• Experience in implementing satellite communications systems (required);
• Experience with Satellite RF sub-systems (Block Up Converters, LNBs, antennas)
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, other advanced science, or engineering field
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Design, installs and maintains automation platform;
• Designs, installs, and maintains the enterprise network to meet the functional objectives of the business;
• Designs, installs, and maintains the enterprise Voice services platforms to meet the functional objectives of the business;
• Provide automation for rapid and large-scale network deployments;
• Provide automation and toolset for real time network monitoring, fault management and self-healing response;
• Provide automation and toolset for end-to-end application visibility and performance management;
• Leads a small team of Network Architects accountable for IT infrastructure architecture and standards development.
