POSITION TITLE

Development Software Engineer

Location: LaGrange, GA or Spartanburg, SC (hybrid or remote options can be considered)

POSITION OVERVIEW

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop proprietary software systems for design teams and integration with manufacturing processes
• Support existing software programs and database systems
• Develop carpet design and visualization software tools
• Collaborate with corporate IS teams for software implementation and maintenance
• Work effectively with cross-functional groups, such as development, manufacturing, and external customers to develop and promote new products or technologies

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

• B.S. or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• A strong applications-based programming skillset (familiarity with C#, C++, VB, VB.net)
• A strong familiarity with WPF. Familiarity with XAML, WinForms, Visual Basics
• Background with 2D and 3D graphics applications
• Familiarity with SQL  

QUALIFICATIONS- PREFERRED

• M.S. or Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, .Net, WPF, DevExpress, and WinForms
• Proficiency in testing and debugging of integrated software and hardware systems
• Background in Software/Architecture, Electronics, Robotics, Communication/Networks
• Understanding of AI and ML models, including their development, deployment, and maintenance
• Experience with AI platforms and technologies, including training and deploying ML models
