**Position Title: Estimator (FULLY REMOTE)**

Our headquarters are located in Akron, OH, and we operate nationally, managing approximately $500 million in construction projects for electric utilities in the Midwest and Northeast regions of the U.S. Additionally, we provide professional construction management services, specializing in Lean Construction for clients in various sectors including healthcare, commercial, education, and hospitality markets nationwide.

**Role Overview:

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in creating utility project estimates, working closely with our clients to deliver best-in-class service. You'll have the opportunity to consult on select projects, providing expertise and guidance as needed. Additionally, you'll assist the Welty Project Management Team as required.

**Responsibilities:

- Create and review comprehensive scope/design documentation for potential projects.
- Generate substation and transmission line estimates at a project level.
- Review supplemental support estimates for various project components.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the estimation process.
- Interpret and analyze actuals in comparison to estimates.
- Facilitate feedback loops from project execution to enhance accuracy.
- Attend regional meetings to review the status of open estimates.
- Build project schedule timelines for estimates with correct logic.

**Preferred Software Experience:

- Sage Estimating software
- Navigator
- Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
- OPPM
- Google Earth
- SAP

**Preferred Technical Experience:

- Experience with substation and transmission line design, construction, and/or testing.
- Proficiency in data mining and analysis.
