Join our team in Lynchburg, VA as a Construction Administrator for an exciting TEMPORARY POSITION starting in early March 2024 and extending through July. This position offers remote-work flexibility, with 20-40 hours per week, allowing you to tailor your schedule to your needs. We are seeking an individual with a proactive mindset and the ability to handle diverse responsibilities.
Responsibilities :
As a Construction Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in managing various administrative and project support tasks. Your duties include:
- Collaborating with Project Manager, Project Architects, or Engineers to maintain construction administration tasks.
- Compiling monthly reports and managing various project logs as necessary.
- Providing efficient and effective support to Client Superintendents upon request, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Overseeing and managing project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and Request for Information (RFI) logs.
- Handling submittals and utilizing Construction Administration (CA) software programs.
Requirements :
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college.
- Proficiency in utilizing the full range of Microsoft Office software.
- Effective communication skills with clients and coworkers.
- Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly adapt to new technology.
- Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States and to obtain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
We value candidates with:
- Knowledge of the Architecture/Engineering industry.
- Proficiency in utilizing construction management software like Procore or similar platforms.
- Strong expertise in document management within file-sharing systems such as SharePoint, OneDrive, or comparable tools.
- Experience in Federal government projects.
