- Base salary: $65K-$75K
- $1K/month guaranteed commission for first 6 months
- First year OTE: $90k-$100k
- $500/month car allowance
Job Summary: Territory Sales Representative - Medical Supplies
Location: Chicago Area
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a Territory Sales Rep, you will be responsible for selling a wide range of medical supplies, specifically focused on advanced wound care, diabetes, incontinence, and ostomy supplies. Your primary objective will be to drive sales and maximize revenue potential within your assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Assess opportunities and threats within the territory to develop effective sales strategies.
- Qualify and quantify the current and potential revenue/referral volume in each account, considering factors such as the number of current and potential patients, reimbursement mix, and sales potential of focus product groups.
- Plan and implement weekly sales activities to effectively reach target accounts.
- Develop and execute account sales strategies as part of the bi-annual business plan.
- Maximize revenue potential in key accounts through strategic account management.
- Adhere to the Monthly Call Ratio plan agreed upon with the Regional Director, ensuring a minimum number of monthly sales calls are made as outlined in the plan.
- Meet new business quotas to drive growth in the territory.
- Resolve customer service issues in assigned accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Present contracts to targeted accounts using corporate pricing strategies.
- Maintain contracts in sales location to optimize revenue in key accounts.
- Provide weekly reports on account activity using Sales Management Software.
- Schedule weekly sales activities in Sales Force by the start of each week.
- Conduct product demonstrations and participate in in-services at key accounts and trade shows.
- Actively participate in company meetings and training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Submit weekly expense reports to the Regional Director.
- Submit a comprehensive month-end report to the Area Manager by the 5th working day of each month, highlighting key activities from the previous month, changes in the competitive landscape, and the status of Business Plan deliverables.
- Undertake miscellaneous projects as assigned by the manager.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of sales experience with a proven track record of sales achievement.
- Demonstrated success in developing new accounts.
- Ability to effectively sell services and promote product lines.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in computer usage.
