Job description
- Job Title: Senior Data Engineer with Strong Graph Ql and data modeling
- Location: Remote
- Type: 6-month contract to higher with potential for extension
- Role involves migrating the data environment to Amazon RedShift.
- Responsibilities include leading the migration, making architectural decisions, and collaborating with a team to ensure a smooth transition.
- Other tasks involve troubleshooting issues during migration, providing guidance to junior team members, and implementing best practices for data migration.
- Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, experience in migrating data environments, and strong knowledge in data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Must have hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly Amazon RedShift, and possess an understanding of data architecture.
- Should have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
- Preferred skills include AWS Certification, experience with other cloud platforms, knowledge in data modeling and database design, and familiarity with best practices for data security and compliance.
