Job Overview:
As the Building Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all buildings and facilities within the Wisconsin Country Club. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in building maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for our members and staff.
Responsibilities - You will perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and facilities.
- We expect you to respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff members to address any issues in a timely manner.
- You shall troubleshoot and diagnose problems with HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical circuits, and other mechanical equipment.
- HVAC, Electrical and/or Plumbing Certification preferred.
- You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on various equipment to ensure their proper functioning.
- Help maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment needed for repairs and replacements.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
- You will assist in the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and event spaces, ensuring they are in good working order.
- We expect you to comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- You must have a strong knowledge of basic HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems to effectively troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise.
- We expect you to be highly skilled in general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry to ensure the facility is always in optimal condition for our Members.
- You should possess excellent problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
- Having the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks will be essential in managing your workload and completing assignments in a timely manner.
- We require you to maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive measures, to ensure compliance with safety regulations and facilitate future reference.
- It is important that you have good communication skills to effectively interact with other team members and address their maintenance-related concerns or requests.
- We expect you to adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, including following safety protocols and using protective equipment when necessary.
