Accounting & Liens Auditor
Position Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for conducting audits to ensure the accuracy of financial records, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance with regulations and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial records, including Quickbooks, to ensure accuracy and compliance with rules and regulations.
- Analyze records and identify discrepancies, anomalies, and potential fraud.
- Perform data analysis and utilize logic functions in Excel to investigate any irregularities.
- Ensure compliance with government and organizational policies, including IOLTA and Trust Accounting.
- Identify and take appropriate action on any potential violations.
- Provide recommendations on improving financial processes and procedures.
- Keep up to date on changes in accounting laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in auditing and/or compliance auditing.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and government regulations.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Quickbooks, Excel, and other relevant software.
- Experience with liens and legal processes a plus.
Benefits - Compensation range based on experience: $60,000 - $72,000
