Job description
The Portfolio Manager - Asse t Recovery will be responsible for obtaining and evaluating information about industry and market trends, competitive threats, and possible business opportunities to ensure that SHI is offering the best service offering to our customers . This role will collaborate with MWS Services Sales Executives and the extended M odern Workplace Services team to determine the appropriate solution set, partner selection, pricing and go - to - market strategy which will offer differentiated value for SHI and its customers . The Portfolio Manager - Asset Recovery will also be responsible for pre-sales support for sales opportunities, will act as a solution subject matter expert on sales calls and will assist in closing sales.
This position will report to the Director of Portfolio within the Modern Workplace Services department. This position is required to report to the Somerset, NJ, Bethlehem, PA or Austin, Texas office location.

Include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluate market trends and competitors, create strategies for production and marketing of Service Desk solutions.
- Identify the teams, partners and processes for delivering these solution sets.
- Develop pricing and product strategy in conjunction with the Director of Portfolio for the MVP solution set.
- Develop a product roadmap for continuous improvement of the MVP solution set.
- Assist in the development for Go to Market Strategy for their solution and provide assistance and training support for the sales teams.
- Develop and evolve technology partnerships.
- Maintain a solution pipeline in conjunction with MWS Sales team and will be responsible for providing quarterly solutions pipeline reports to the Director of Portfolio
- Assist the MWS sales teams in closing opportunities and growing the revenue and gross margin of their assigned solution(s).
- A ssist with proposals and bid opportunities and will develop appropriate sales enablement materials to arm the sales teams with the necessary information to win the business.
- Four-year college degree or commensurate experience
- 3 -5 years’ experience in Product or Program Management
- 8-10 years' technical or sales experience
- Experience Developing and Marketing Service Desk Solutions
- Excellent organization, communication, verbal & written skills
- Must be results driven with a strong sense of urgency
- Self-study and independent work to increase job related knowledge and skills

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree
- Two or more years of SHI experience (Sales, Services, Marketing)
- Travel as necessary. (10%-20% anticipated)
