Position: Experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse
- $28.23/hr. - $58.35/hr.
- $20,000 Sign-On Bonus
Location: Savannah, Georgia
Overview: Join our team in Savannah, Georgia, where we've been delivering top-quality healthcare since 1955. We are a regional referral center for heart care, cancer care, trauma care, children's care, high-risk pregnancies, and high-risk newborn care. Located in the vibrant city of Savannah, we are also the Savannah campus of Mercer University School of Medicine.
Position Description: In collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team, the Experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse plays a pivotal role in assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating treatment plans. As a key member of our interdependent team, you will hold responsibility for achieving positive patient and departmental outcomes.
What You Will Do in This Role: - Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients.
- Manage efficient patient care flow, including screening, exam preparation, general nursing care, and admissions, testing, and discharges coordination.
- Maintain and review patient records, including test and exam results.
- Administer medications per physician orders.
- Provide patient and family education on medications and treatment plans.
- Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed.
Qualifications: - Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience.
Compensation and Benefits: - Competitive Salary:
- Minimum: $28.23 per hour
- Mid: $35.29 per hour
- Maximum: $42.35 per hour
- Relocation Assistance:
- $5,000 for distances over 250 miles
- $2,500 for distances over 50 miles
- Generous $20,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Shift Differentials:
- Nights: $5 per hour
- Weekends: $10 per hour
