Summary :
This role blends Cost Accounting and General Accounting duties within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain models, parts, and costs in Oracle.
- General accounting
- Coordinate audits for physical inventories (semi-annually).
- Prepare inventory reports for various items like ammo, scrap, in-transit, etc.
- Provide backup support to payroll staff as needed.
- Distribute weekly payroll reports to internal customers.
- Assist Senior Accountant as needed.
- Manage positive pay process.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Close periods for three organizations.
- Open/close modules for multiple divisions.
- Gather data for various reports as required.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting to support Divisional Controller.
Qualifications :
- Hold a minimum of a four-year degree in Accounting or Business Management with a concentration in Accounting.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as an accountant, handling payroll, accounts payable, and cost accounting responsibilities.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in utilizing ERP and Payroll Software.
- Demonstrate experience in supervising others' work.
- Show proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLookup, IF functions, etc.
