Warehouse Team Lead needed!
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday
$18 per hour
Livonia area
An employee who may be employed as a Team Lead, and whose duties require hand and table work, discharging the duties of instructing beginners, and capable of operating and setting up small machines.
Responsibilities:
- Leads training of employees
- May work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Ability to set up and delegate tasks and projects to employees
- Leads project/task teams; sets up project/job, identifies productivity and quality standards, trains/coaches staff, and measures success.
- Monitors departmental performance and adapts to circumstances to meet performance standards
- Establishes the appropriate pace for the department and coaches the team to meet and sustain the pace.
- Ensures that workspace meets 5-S requirements.
- Lifting to 50 lbs
- Conflict resolution & team building
- Ensures that the team complies with all shop rules.
- Provides input and involvement in the safety and quality programs.
- Capable of setting up and operating small machines
- Performs line and/or table assembly and packing
- May be asked to work on special assignments.
Required Competencies - MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR of Team Lead / Supervisor experience.
- · Experience supervising multiple employees and providing strong leadership.
- Ability to demonstrate basic math skills
- · Learn/understand units of measure, fractions, decimals, etc.
- · Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- · Effective project management skills
- · Outstanding customer service skills
- · Scanner experience a plus
