Job description

Altus Engineering, partnering with Davis Defense Group (DDG), is seeking a Senior Manpower, Personnel, and Training Analyst to support the US Marine Corps Program Manager Light Tactical Vehicle (PM LTV). The MPT Analyst applies the concept, principles, theories, and processes of Instructional Systems Design to solve, recommend, and evaluate training solutions, reports, and plans to the USG. The MPT Analyst applies analytics, and technical research to identify and substantiate workload requirements, training requirements, and personnel requirements for systems being obtained or in sustainment for USMC. The MPT Analyst will interact and support USG MPT Specialist and Logistics Product Support Manager efforts and activities for MPT. The applicant should have familiarity with DoD and USMC acquisition mandates and processes (e.g., DoD 5000.01). Must have job experience in the profession of education and training.

The MPT Analyst will serve as a specialist in the planning and execution of instructional and/or research assignments. Responsibilities will include:

· Provide support to PM LTV Product Support Manager and MPT Specialist/ ISD in the identification, development, and evaluation of training plans, strategies, materials, and schedules.

· Apply all phases of the ADDIE model and its tenets.

· Interact with MPT, Logistics, System Engineering and Human System Integration working/ focus groups, IPTs, and PM LTV internal and external stakeholders.

· Develop Manpower Estimate Reports and Manpower Personnel & Training Plans

· Review, assess, and guide training products, plans and strategies under design and development.

· Demonstrate organizational and management skills leading and conducting training analyses and determining training solutions.

· Collaborate with the acquisitions and logistics team in support of acquisitions, logistics, finance and MPT documents.

· Performs other related duties for the Program Management Office as assigned.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical or training related field. The work environment assumes the ability to work independently taking responsibility for the training area but also collaboratively with other members of the team.

Requirements include:

U.S. Citizenship

· Ability to receive a SECRET clearance (ideally one already in place)

· 7+ years of related experience.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong presentation skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Skill with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.

· Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.

· Ability to design and implement effective training and development.

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Experience with Manpower Determination Tools (MAD, MER, IMPRINT)

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software

Additional background desired but not required includes:

· Experience with United States Marine Corps systems and equipment

· Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential highly desirable.

· Capability to work for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
