We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who is highly motivated, outgoing and personable. This individual should enjoy working with people, is well organized and a quick learner with the ability to work well in a team environment.

In this role the individual will:

• Process and enter AP invoices accurately and timely.
• Responsible for various accounting and accounts payable activities ensuring they are done accurately and meeting all required deadlines.
• Identify any invoice issues and work with the appropriate people to resolution.
• Audit and Process employee expense reports for reimbursement.
• Process check runs and other payments when required.
• Handle vendor payment/invoice issues as they arise.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payments/issues.
• Assist with Month end closing procedures.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role it is important that you have:

• An Associate degree in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Minimum of two to four years of experience in an Accounting/Finance environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and possess a commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with an acute attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MSOffice Suite is required.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably Fourth Shift) is desired.
