Brooks Note Wines is seeking an experienced professional to lead our hospitality team and craft memorable experiences for our guests. We are looking for a top-notch host with a passion for wine education. This position offers good earning potential and an excellent opportunity for growth. Founded in 2012, Brooks Note Winery focuses on crafting balanced, elegant wines from the Petaluma Gap and beyond. Pinot Noir is our central focus, but we also produce award-winning Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Rosé, GSM, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our production facility and tasting room are located in a warm, industrial space blocks from the center of downtown Petaluma on the cusp of the idyllic westside residential neighborhoods and the iconic grain mills of Petaluma.

Basic Duties
- Create a welcoming, fun, and educational experience for tasting room guests
- Facilitate an effective, low-pressure environment for sales and wine club sign-ups
- Review and plan for reservations on a daily and weekly basis
- Participation in on and offsite events
- Communicate effectively with other team members
- Lead our tasting room staff
- Manage tasting room operations (scheduling, ordering supplies, maintaining tasting room appearance)
- Manage tasting room operations
- Help coordinate outgoing shipping
- Help grow our event business
- Help implement and improve our marketing program
- Help Coordinate wine club shipments

Qualifications
- Consistent availability Wednesday-Sunday
- Intermediate or higher level wine knowledge
- 2+ years of tasting room experience preferred
- Candidates with relevant wine/hospitality experience will be considered
- Enthusiastic candidates seeking to enter the wine business will be considered
- Candidates with winery harvest experience a plus
- Ability to stand up to eight hours per shift
- Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must complete responsible beverage service training
- Full-time availability

Compensation
Competitive hourly plus commissions
