Job description
Hire Resolve's esteemed client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Audit Associate to join their team. As a Senior Audit Associate, you will play a key role in conducting financial audits for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and identifying areas for process improvement. Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute audit engagements, including designing and implementing audit programs, conducting risk assessments, and performing substantive testing
- Review and analyze financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Identify control deficiencies and make recommendations for improvement
- Communicate audit findings to clients in a clear and concise manner
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and feedback
- Participate in the development of audit policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and auditing standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with audit software, such as Caseware, is a plus
