Golden State Smiles is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing exceptional dental care to our patients and maintaining their oral health.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and screenings, including removing plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth and examining gums for any signs of disease or abnormalities.
- Administer local anesthesia, if necessary, to ensure patient comfort during dental procedures.
- Take and develop dental x-rays to aid in the diagnosis of dental issues.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and using antimicrobial rinses.
- Assess patients' oral health conditions and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform dental examinations to detect and document oral diseases, oral cancer, and other abnormalities.
- Administer fluoride treatments to help prevent tooth decay and protect teeth.
- Assist the dentist in various dental procedures, such as applying dental sealants, placing fillings, and performing periodontal treatments.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date dental records for all patients.
- Educate and counsel patients on maintaining good oral health and preventing dental diseases.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive and individualized dental care plans.
- Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic dental environment.

_ Requirements _
- Must be a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
- Possess excellent clinical skills and the ability to provide quality dental care.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and oral hygiene techniques.
- Proficient in taking dental x-rays and interpreting results.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients of all age groups.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced dental practice.
- Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records is preferred.
- Willingness to continuously stay updated with the latest advancements in dental techniques and technologies through continuing education.
