Link-Belt Mid Atlantic is firmly committed to maintaining and protecting our customer’s equipment investments. We specialize in crane and excavator sales, service, rentals, and parts. Currently we have a Sales Representative role open with our Mid-Atlantic location in New Castle, Delaware. SummaryResponsible for the sales and marketing efforts of the distributor operations related to new, used, and rental fleet equipment within a defined sales territoryEssential Job Functions1. Responsible for the cultivation and management of existing customer relationships.2. Identify and seek to acquire new customers within the assigned sales territory.3. Generate new and used equipment sales for the distributor operations and ensure proper utilization rates for rental fleet equipment.4. Maintain an appropriate level of market share for the distributor operations within the assigned sales territory.5. Responsible for all marketing efforts within the assigned sales territory, including the compilation and maintenance of mailing lists and contacts for all existing and prospective customers.6. Serve as a liaison, as needed, between customers and the appropriate distributor personnel to resolve any customer issues or concerns.7. Prepare quotations for new, used, and rental fleet equipment, and ensure proper documentation on all sales and rental contracts.8. Prepare and submit all applicable sales reports, including customer call reports and new prospect reports.9. Identify and report any noticeable changes in market trends or pricing which may affect distributor operations.10. Maintain and supply specific marketing information as requested, including information related to competitive dealers, products, and manufacturers.11. Develop short and long-term sales and marketing strategies for the assigned sales territory to aid the distributor operations in achieving its overall goals and objectives.12. Provide input to assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other short and long-term planning efforts.13. Assist in the collection efforts of delinquent accounts as requested, and when deemed appropriate.14. Enhance sales expertise through self-study, company sponsored sales meetings, and industry seminars and trade shows. Education Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing. At least 3 years of related equipment, rental, or product support/sales experience within the construction equipment industry.
