Description MHM Solutions, a Centurion company, is proud to be the provider of healthcare staffing solutions to state agencies within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking multiple per diem jail based psychiatrists to join our team in covering the Eastern Pennsylvania regions. There is a chance for some of this to be telework.
This is professional medical work in the field of psychiatry or child psychiatry. The psychiatrist is responsible for the care and treatment for individuals, within Commonwealth facilities, that may have a mental or physical injury or illness, dysfunctional behavior and/or a developmental disability.
Duties include but are not limited to: full professional responsibility for the diagnosis, determination of treatment methods, and leadership in the implementation of treatment plans. Work is performed under general direction of a higher-level psychiatrist for clinical supervision or other administrative supervisor for administrative issues and is reviewed for conformance to current, accepted psychiatric and medical principles and techniques through staff conferences, case report observation during performance, and evaluation of results.
Qualifications Qualifications:
- MD or DO. Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and DEA.
- BE/BC by the ABPN.
- All qualified applicants are required to successfully complete a security clearance process as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.
This is a per diem role; ideally this provider would provide at least 4 in person evaluations per month with there being additional evaluation opportunities available remotely. Providers must have the ability to travel to several locations within specified region.
