Overview: As part of a multi-disciplinary, core services team, the PACT Nurse provides nursing assessment, direct support services, and primary health care to individuals with seriously and persistently mentally ill individuals enrolled in the PACT program.
Services: The PACT Nurse will assess the medical history and current needs of the client, work with the PACT team to develop integrated medical and mental health treatment goals, and provide support and education to other team members in nursing/medical treatment and health care.
To qualify for Registered Nurse you need to have the below minimum requirements and experience
- NJ Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Two years paid post-degree work experience in mental health preferred.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
To be a successful Registered Nurse you must be able to do the following essential duties and responsibilities always:

- Utilizes supervision effectively to address client-related issues.

Program Quality Requirements
- Must demonstrate initiative, creativity, be dependable, reliable and work well independently.
- Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances.
- Must be able to set goals, analyze work develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently.
- Must regularly be able to see, speak and hear. Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, bend, use hands and arms and must occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must be sensitive, flexible and responsive to gender, race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, religion, age, sexual orientation or any other special needs as reflected in the ability to communicate with staff and/or clients.
- Assume an active role in agency events.
