Job description
We are seeking a motivated, experienced Deposit Relationship Manager (DRM) to join our growing company. The DRM is responsible for the branch deposit portfolio and oversees the day-to-day operations of the branch. The DRM works in partnership with the Branch Manager to achieve goals related to branch growth and profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of depository products and services to both consumers and businesses with an emphasis on client relationship development, deposit growth, and service
- Act as the primary contact and officer for all new client deposit relationships established, as well as existing relationships. Requires knowledge of general banking operations as it relates to account management for these clients.
- Open new accounts and complete account maintenance updates ensuring strict adherence to the Bank's policies and procedures.
- Promote the Bank's Cash Management products and services to both existing and prospective clients by gaining a high level of confidence and knowledge with these products.
- Partner with the Online Banking Department on sales opportunities, providing demonstrations of our digital products and services.
- Build relationships, both internally and externally, through exceptional problem solving, ownership and follow-through. Provide a high level of personalized service and support.
- Manages the deposit portfolio with a balanced perspective on sales, efficiencies, risk, and profitability.
- Responsible for resolving and responding to client service issues, complex client complaints, and questions.
- Perform cash transactions and other customer service duties within the branch, as needed.
- Maintain high ethical standards and comply with all regulations and applicable laws
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management of employees under their purview, including: interviewing, selecting, hiring, completing performance evaluations, advancements, and termination of employees.
- Responsible for training, coaching and mentoring employees.
- Oversees the day-to-day workflow, schedule, and operations of the branch.
- Performs transaction approvals and overrides within the framework of their authority limits.
- Implements and monitors legal compliance measures, ensuring the branch is compliant with all Bank policies and procedures.
- Prepares the branch for audits and works with audit staff to resolve any identified issues.
