As a Unit Helper, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship to develop essential skills in providing care to our residents. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to start your career in healthcare under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in professional training to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures
• Learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision
• Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents
• Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being of residents

USD $15.75/Hr.

Qualifications of a Nursing Assistant Trainee include:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
• Passion for healthcare and a desire to learn and grow in a Long-Term Care setting
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
