About the Team The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team is community based and supports some of the community's most acute individuals with chronic mental illness and substance use in Anchorage, Alaska. The work is fast-paced, unpredictable, and requires risk management within the ACT model. The ACT Team provides services to previously homeless individuals suffering from mental illness or a substance use disorder.
What You’ll Do - Maintain a caseload and work with other members of the ACT Team to promote stability, recovery, and community integration
- Monitor vital signs, glucose, medication side effects, etc. and report findings as required
- Administer and provide medication to patients according to physician/ANP/PA orders
- Work with team and patient in developing/following the optimal treatment/service plan
- Participate in facilitating crisis interventions, referrals, and hospitalizations as appropriate

- Pay Range $37.83 to $48.96 DOE *SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE*

What We Need from You - You’re a Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska, knowledgeable in psychiatric nursing principles and practices
- You have experience in community-based services, and experience working with dually diagnosed population is a plus!
