Job description
We are seeking candidates for the Industrial Radiographer Bryan TX. This role is suited for individuals at the low-mid level who can independently conduct radiographic tests, prepare shipping documentation, and adhere to state-required regulations. The selected candidate will undergo specific training leading to Level I or II certification for nondestructive examinations (NDE), assessing the condition of critical industrial components.

Team orientation, professionalism, and a willingness to work in challenging environments are essential. The position requires flexibility for extensive travel assignments, acceptance of extended work hours/days/weeks, and adaptability to client scheduling dynamics. Safety consciousness and adherence to written procedures and quality practices are paramount.
The role entails working in less than favorable conditions, including dirty or radiological environments. There are also physically challenging conditions such as heat, cold, or strenuous activities. Such activities include climbing or carrying 50+ pounds of equipment for extended periods. Maintaining focus in hazardous industrial environments, including heights, scaffolds, lifts, noisy locations, and areas with operating machinery or hazardous activities nearby (e.g., welding, grinding) is crucial.
Candidates should possess a state or nationally recognized Industrial Radiographer Certification card for Radioactive Materials, X-ray Machines, or both, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. A mechanical aptitude, understanding of basic physical NDE principles and processes, competence in fundamental algebra, and the ability to read, comprehend, and prepare technical specifications and procedures in English are necessary. Successful candidates will undergo required training for NDE Level II certification in Radiographic Testing within 18 months.
