Job Description Summary
Provides safe and competent comprehensive health care services to include diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of minor injury to chronic illnesses, providing education, case management, teaching/counseling, health promotion and disease prevention and referral, when appropriate to other health care professionals. Works in collaboration with a sponsor physician or physicians and is legally authorized under their licensing state to provide health care in a variety of settings, either autonomously or in conjunction with a physician.
Job Description
Well-established, hospital employed surgical groups seeks additional Cardiovascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join their practice. Exceptional referral base with strong primary care and cardiology physician referral sources from 13 counties. Experience with vein harvesting and surgical first assisting is required, and RNFA certification will be required for NP's. PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS:
Hospital-employed position
Group consists of 3 board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeons and 3 PA's
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting in the OR, performing vein harvesting, facilitating hospital rounds, and seeing patients in post-op clinic
daVinici robot and Maquet EVH system available
Clinic located on SEH campus for easy access to hospital, OR, etc.
Practice at one location - no travel required
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
CRNP or PA will be considered. RNFA certification is required for NP's.
Academic preparation and degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or MSN/CRNP Program with active board-certification.
Current or active eligibility to obtain an AL PA or NP license
Experience with endoscopic vein harvesting is required.
