What we’re looking for

butter is looking for Full-Time Trim and Packaging Technicians to join our second shift running from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM Monday to Friday.

The Trim and Packaging Technician will assist in maintaining quality control measures to ensure high quality product and carries out day-to-day tasks including trimming, prepping, packaging, and labeling in accordance with standards set by butter.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Staging product and packaging supplies to meet daily production schedule.
• Work in other departments as required, including, but not limited to, cultivation.
• Performing quality assurance protocols as designated by butter procedures.
• Responsible for increasing operational efficiency and reducing waste through ownership, teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
• Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conduct visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed butter’s specifications and customer’s expectations.
• Ensuring 100% compliance involving proper weighing, data recording, product tracking and security throughout the entire packaging process.
• Consistently operates in an efficient manner that also complies with all OSHA regulations, butter’s SOP’s, and all applicable required procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of work areas.

General and Associated Factors

• Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain medical and adult use marijuana work credentials.
• Must be able to pass a state and City of Flint background check.
• Must be willing and able to work 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM shift Monday to Friday.

Education/Experience

• Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent required.
• Experience in the cannabis industry preferred, but not required.

Technological Skill

• Experience with seed to sale systems and METRC is a plus.
