Phoenix Ortho Injury Spine & Extremity, a multi-disciplinary practice, is actively seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist in our Stone Mountain location. We are offering a full-time position with company benefits.

Position Details:

• Title: Radiologic Technologist/X-Ray Tech
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Location: Stone Mountain, GA
• Pay Rate: $40 per hour.
• Hours: 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday (some Fridays off early)
• Certification Required: Active ARRT & XRT License

Radiologic Technologist/ X-Ray Tech duties and responsibilities

• Follow instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
• Talk the patient through the procedure and answer questions to lower their anxiety
• Correctly position the patient, adjust the imaging equipment to the specified position
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to themselves and to the patient
• Follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding
• Keep good patient records
• Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating future needs and placing orders
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

- Completion of an accredited X-ray Technician program

- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician

- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology

- Proficiency in medical terminology

- Experience with diagnostic evaluation techniques

- Familiarity with medical imaging software and equipment

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
