Job description
Position Purpose:
Provide maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve any issues associated with IT hardware, Warehouse Management Systems Applications Software and other IT Systems within the RLC. IT hardware includes RF Scan Guns, PCs, laptops, printer, etc. This position reports to the Regional Manager of Operations This position may have direct reports This position requires the ability to sit stand and frequently move about the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- 25% Hardware:
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve various types of hardware used in the operation
- Ability to troubleshoot or project manage the HD Help Desk or third party providers
- Ability to take charge of or repair/upgrade various types of hardware
- 25% WMS:
- Maintain locations – system matches physical locations, create/block/remove locations
- Administer RLOG – add/remove users, user permissions, etc.
- Troubleshoot RLOG issues – Container not physically in location, warehouse full, etc.
- Knowledge of DBMS – RLOG errors refer to a lot of common errors seen in DBMS
- 25% Software:
- Knowledge of different software used by the operation
- Ability to use database tools such as SQL Server Mgmt Studio, Teradata, or TOAD
- Ability to generate and analyze ad hoc reports
- 25% Communication:
- Ability to communicate problems effectively
- Can speak to all audiences – IT and end users
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This position reports to a Systems Manager.
- This position has 1-2 direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
Working Conditions:
- Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.

- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
