Job Title: IT Integration Lead
Location: North Milwaukee Suburbs, WI Hybrid 3 days onsite/wk
Position Type: Full-Time
Overview:
As the IT Integration Lead, you will spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of frontend and backend APIs/Web Services solutions utilizing Middleware integration tools and API Management Tools. Your expertise will be crucial in integrating disparate business systems within multi-tier environments, ensuring solutions meet business requirements, are delivered on time, within budget, and uphold exceptional quality standards. You will provide strategic and technical leadership to software development teams, employing agile methodologies and best practices to develop robust, scalable, and high-performance integration solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with various corporate and business functions, advocating for key integration security aspects, and evangelizing integration best practices within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the software development team in designing and developing frontend and backend APIs/Web Services solutions using Middleware integration tools and API Management Tools.
- Implement best practices to develop clustered, reliable, scalable, and high-performance APIs and integration solutions.
- Ensure integration solutions are compatible with platform releases and leverage new functionalities introduced into API Management Tool and Middleware Integration platforms.
- Collaborate with multiple corporate and business functions to ensure integration source designs meet performance and availability requirements.
- Provide oversight of web service top-down design methodology and advocate for key integration security aspects.
- Enable configuration, implementation, and usage of Message Queue systems for integrations.
- Evangelize Integration C4E practices with guidelines defining the adoption of API Led strategy, SOA vision, RESTful web services, and Microservices Architecture.
- Own the Integration Domain, overseeing process controls and defining tool usage playbooks.
- Manage integration architecture and specifications through the service development lifecycle.
- Conduct workshops with stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze problem statements, and provide scoped solutions aligning with the organization's IT-Architectural landscape.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive experience leading Integration Platforms for organizations.
- 5+ years of experience implementing service-oriented architecture (SOA) and enterprise application integration (EAI) using technologies such as Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, webMethods, TIBCO, etc.
- Proficiency in Middleware Integration Tools, Java or .Net frameworks, C#, Web Servers (IIS, Apache), Caching, SQL, REST/SOAP API, API Management Tool, Node.js, JavaScript, XPath, XSLT, WCF, Micro Services, jQuery, Scripting (WMI, PowerShell), CSS3, HTML5, JSON, OOP, and Web Application Development framework.
- Project management skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and design robust, scalable integration solutions.
- Experience in creating high-level and low-level design artifacts, along with knowledge in UML.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD concepts, and build pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, Git, Docker, Ansible, etc.
- Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and iterative development practices.
- Understanding of SDLC concepts with the ability to map business requirements, technical documentation, application design, development, and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field.
- UP to 25% Travel for project milestones/Kaizen events
