Job description
Job Title: Sr. Hydraulics Engineer
Location: Charlotte Metro, NC
Salary: $100k+
Requirements: Hydraulic Modeling, Water/Wastewater Systems and Design
- Client interactions (primarily municipalities, some clients in private utility sector)
- Preliminary engineering, hydraulic design
- Local travel to client sites (within 2 hours of office)
- Development of construction documents
- Permit coordination
- Construction observation/administration
- Field investigations and corresponding assessments
- Other aspects of civil engineering services
- Bachelors or Masters in Engineering (Civil, Construction, Environmental, or related)
- 3+ years project experience in water, wastewater, utility, infrastructure, design
- EIT Certification and/or PE License or ability to obtain PE licensure within 2 years of hire
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and/or hydraulic modeling software preferred
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Capable of moderate lifting (generally 25 pounds or less)
- Capable of operating a motor vehicle, with valid driver's license
