Job description
KU School of Business is seeking a Financial Manager to join its growing and expanding team. This position requires a dynamic person who can adapt and grow while (1) overseeing the School's internal budgets, (2) initiating and monitoring transactions, and (3) reporting on all the School's funds. This position reports to and works closely with the Principal Analyst preparing financial analyses, cash management, forecasting, risk management, and developing strategic financial plans. The Financial Manager also works in close coordination with the School's human resources team.
This position is designated as primarily on-campus during the academic year but has flexibility to work virtually or hybrid over breaks and summer, as approved. The Budget Analyst's office will be located in Capitol Federal Hall, a 166,500 square foot modern facility that the School of Business has called home since 2016. Other flexible work schedules will be evaluated as per KU policy and School guidelines. Position is benefits eligible.
