Job Duties: - Providing leadership to corporate strategic planning and deal acquisition process with focus on engineering and manufacturing capable acquisition opportunities.
- Developing and implementing the Daikin Applied Shared Vision Process — Integration and Governance for engineering and manufacturing focused entities.
- Supporting the complete integration process for engineering and manufacturing intensive organizations and working closely with Divisional Vice Presidents and the Executive Management team.
- Planning and executing integration across designated and defined areas of strategic intent.
- Assisting Vice President of corporate development, develop strategies to accelerate integration across the Daikin Applied organization. Leading integration with acquired engineering intensive entities and targets immediately and have ownership over the complete integration process, partner with cross functional teams, evaluating opportunistic deal targets for integration value creation.
- Identifying, building, and implementing best practices for M A integration process and strategies.
- Acting as Liaison with the Daikin International leadership and strategy teams to collaborate and inform on integration, while also ensuring Daikin International process discipline is executed and improved for assigned/developed target opportunities
- Interacting directly with acquisitions and acquisition target principals and their functional leaders creating PMI plans and executing to plan.
- Building and managing relationships with the acquired entity's operating leaders and teams post-close to drive post-merger integration process adherence and synergies realizations
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related). Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Six years of experience as an Engineer Must have experience with the following: leading teams to deliver projects involved in the support of supply chain such as sourcing, design for manufacturability, product costing, etc.; working in engineering functions and product design; working in cross functional engineering teams; leading teams in project management directly or indirectly; creating and presenting cost modelling of sourcing impacts on engineering, design for manufacturability and associated costs; working with senior leadership and complex decision support; souring decision support and execution globally; product design with specific influence on design for manufacturability and sourcing; portfolio management and managing CAPEX projects.
Work Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week (M-F)
