Job Description:
As the content and communications lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping
and evolving the brand; strengthening our position in the AI and frontier
technology investment landscape; and promoting our portfolio companies in line with our
objectives. This position requires a unique blend of big-picture strategy and hands-on
execution. We need a thinker and a doer!

Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy: Working collaboratively with the partners and other firm
stakeholders, develop and execute comprehensive marketing content and
communications plan that aligns with the firm's mission and goals, positioning
us as both a thought leader in B2B AI and frontier technology, as well as an
outstanding partner for founders and company builders.
2. Content Strategy and Creation: Create high-quality content, including
whitepapers, blog posts, case studies, and videos showcasing the firm's
expertise and the impact of AI technology. Note: This is “hands-on.” As our head
of content, you will be the firm's primary writer and editor.
3. Digital Marketing: Create and drive digital marketing efforts, including website
management, SEO, social media, and email campaigns to attract and engage and
entrepreneurs, potential fund investors, investment partners, and the tech
ecosystem.
4. Portfolio Promotion: Work closely with our portfolio company founders and
marketing groups to create initiatives that highlight their achievements and
products for visibility and market adoption and provide a lens into the
investments that the firm is making.
5. Communications, PR, and Media Relations: Work with our external PR firm to
identify and respond to opportunities for showcasing our thought leadership and
expertise: content submission, speaker participation, interviews, etc. Develop
and execute communications strategies, including newsletters, for all core
constituents (LPs, founders, advisors, and the broader network of the firm).
6. Project Management: Develop detailed tasks and timelines for our Annual
Meeting. Skillfully collaborate with all team members to deliver an outstanding
experience for our investors, founders, and advisors.
7. Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets to ensure maximum ROI and
accountability for all marketing expenditures.
8. Operations, Analytics, and Reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing
performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies,
making data-driven improvements. Continue to monitor the marketplace and
competitive firms to understand market dynamics and the firms
communication effectiveness.

Qualifications:
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, computer science, or a
related field. 3 to 7 years experience.
• Proven experience working in a lean environment.
• Prior work in a technology or investment company where understanding the
technology was critical to the role. AI experience is a big plus.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate technology concepts into
easily understood content.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
• High EQ with proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment.
• Robust project management skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to learn new concepts and
adapt quickly to change.
