Senior Associate Attorney with 7+ years of experience needed!!!
A reputable and dynamic law firm with multiple practice areas and a strong commitment to providing exceptional legal counsel, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join their team. Responsibilities for Senior Associate Attorney:
- Assist in the preparation and management of complex defense cases, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, and providing general litigation support.
- Second chair trial/arbitration experience, either in criminal or civil matters, demonstrating a solid understanding of courtroom procedures and strategies.
- Handle a diverse caseload and maintain a high level of file management efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior partners and team members to develop and execute legal strategies that align with client objectives.
- Conduct legal analysis and research to provide accurate and timely counsel to clients.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders effectively and professionally.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
Qualificationsfor Senior Associate Attorney:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active and in good standing with the Kentucky Bar Association. License in Ohio a PLUS
- 7+ years of relevant legal experience
- Book of business(40-60%) assisting in future growth
- Proven experience as second chair in trials/arbitrations, either in criminal or civil matters.
- Exceptional file handling skills, with the ability to manage a significant caseload effectively.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
