Job description

Civilian, contracted opportunity for a Registered Nurse to provide full-time services in the Operating Room at the U.S. military treatment facility located overseas at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom.

Royal Air Force Lakenheath,  United Kingdom , is located 70 miles northeast of London and 25 miles northeast of Cambridge. The Liberty Wing consists of more than 4,500 active-duty military members, over 1,000 British and U.S. civilians.

We will safely relocate the provider upon all Government approvals.

Qualification requirements are:

Education:

Must possess a minimum of an Bachelor’s of Schience in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.

Certifications: Have 1 of the following:
-Basic Life Support (BLS)

-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Experience:

• Have at least (1) year previous experience as Operating Room Registered Nurse (PreOp, Surgical, Post-Op, and Sterilization)


• Familiarity with medical software and equipment 


• Ability to build rapport with patients


• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
