Job Summary: As a Rental Car Specialist at Loyalty Collision Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional experience while their vehicles are in our care. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service:
- Warmly greet customers with a smile and professionalism.
- Assess customer needs and recommend the perfect vehicle to suit their requirements.
- Provide clear and informative explanations of our rental policies, rates, and vehicle options.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and efficiently.
Vehicle Inspection:
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each rental to document any damage or issues.
- Ensure that rental vehicles are impeccably clean, well-maintained, and meet stringent safety standards.
- Collaborate with our maintenance team to schedule necessary repairs and maintenance.
Documentation and Transactions:
- Expertly process rental agreements, verifying customer identification, driver's licenses, and payment methods.
- Clearly explain rental terms and conditions to customers and obtain their agreement.
- Collect rental fees, deposits, and any additional charges as needed.
- Provide customers with precise receipts and rental contracts.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain meticulous rental records and documentation.
- Keep track of vehicle availability, reservations, and returns.
- Complete necessary paperwork related to vehicle rentals, including damage and accident reports if required.
Vehicle Return and Inspection:
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles upon return, noting any new damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately calculate rental charges, fees, and refunds.
- Ensure the timely return and check-in of rental vehicles.
- Detail Vehicles when necessary.
Upkeep of Rental Facility:
- Ensure that the rental office and rental vehicles are consistently clean and presentable.
- Maintain adequate supplies of rental materials, such as brochures, forms, and rental agreements.
Sales and Upselling:
- Seize opportunities to offer additional services or upgrades to customers when appropriate.
- Promote our loyalty programs, insurance options, and other offerings that enhance the rental experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a college degree).
- Prior customer service or sales experience is often preferred.
- Familiarity with rental car software and reservation systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (may be required).
- Ability to lift and move objects up to a certain weight (e.g., luggage).
