The Content Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in creating and disseminating valuable, pertinent, and consistently on-brand digital content with the objective of engaging and retaining a clearly defined audience, ultimately driving profitable customer action. This role entails the strategic management of both online and print marketing content.
Qualifications:
- A four-year undergraduate degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design or Communication is preferred, but not required.
- Must have an easy-going, positive attitude and be able to get along well with others.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent communication and written grammar skills.
- You will be spending a large majority of your time in front of a computer, so you must be comfortable working in a digital environment.
- Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is required. A design portfolio is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Technical expertise in the maintenance of popular social media channels is a must; this includes Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite is a must, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Publisher
- Prior working knowledge of using and maintaining a website’s CMS is preferred.
- Advanced photography and video editing knowledge is preferred.
- Must be able to work on-property, in an office environment Monday-Friday; must also be flexible to work any necessary hours, including potentially late nights, weekends and holidays with understanding of hospitality industry 24/7 operations and requirement to support as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Development of Branded Marketing Collateral:
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and department heads to conceptualize and design a diverse range of sales collateral targeting specific audiences, including but not limited to golf, spa, restaurants, club membership, brides, and meeting planners.
- Design print collateral for publications, check presenters, on-property signage, sales brochures, front desk collateral, special offers and promotions, menus, etc.
- Obtain quotes for printing and production, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Facilitate the tracking and reporting of marketing expenditures, managing budget allocations and promptly submitting invoices.
Maintenance of Property Website Platforms:
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate, relevant, and timely information on both property websites.
- Ensure the timely upload of special rate plans, packages, and offers discussed in Revenue Meetings.
- Periodically verify and test contact information on the website to ensure correct routing to the appropriate departments or individuals (e.g., RFP Forms, email addresses, phone numbers).
Creation and Curation of Photography and Videography:
- Work with the social media advocacy agency to schedule styled shoots.
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos during resort events, including headshots and other marketing shots.
- Effectively manage and organize media assets on the M drive and other digital platforms.
Collaboration with Photo Advocacy Agency:
- Develop and execute quarterly photo contests, offering enticing prizes to encourage guests to submit and share their social media content about the resort.
- Curate guest photos and quote submissions in a timely manner for use in marketing materials.
Management of On-Property Digital Signage via OptiSigns:
- Oversee the content and scheduling of on-property digital signage, ensuring it aligns with the overall marketing strategy and objectives.
